Every year, 200,000 children a year are born in developing countries with club-foot. If left untreated, there would be approximately 2 million children with this disability over the next 10 years. This is NOT a minor disability, yet it is a simple fix. These children are seen as burdens on their families and are rejected by the community. At times, it has been said that they are cursed by the devil. They cannot walk to school to get an education, or contribute to their community. It is too difficult physically and emotionally. 25 Cloth is now partnering with an organization to help these children. This quarter, in addition to purchasing a shirt, you supply one child with the materials for a cast.. With your purchase, a child will have the opportunity to heal properly and enjoy one of life's basic functions--to walk. Thank you for joining with 25 Cloth to make a difference. In our First quarter, every 25 shirt purchased gave a person in Rwanda Africa clean water for life. To us, clean water is all that we know; but in Rwanda, 80% of deaths are caused by the water born illnesses in the puddles they are forced to drink from. Because of your purchases 750 people in Rwanda were given clean water for life in our first quarter. This water is saving them from a life of constant sickness and possibly death. That truly is the definition of our statement, “Not just a shirt…A life changed.” Thank you, all who joined with 25 and changed the world by purchasing a shirt. For our second quarter, Every 25 shirt purchased gave a child with Clubfoot in Central America, the casting that will cure them of the disease. Clubfoot is something these children are born with and if it’s not corrected by the time they are 3, walking will be something they never experience. Of course many of these children and their families don’t have the funds to correct this, so the children become outcasts in their society and are said to be, “Cursed by the Devil” and treated like lepers. |

Isn’t it funny how the simplest convenience to us can mean life or death to someone else? We worry about what car we drive or what clothes we wear, while others worry about if the water they are drinking will end up killing them. Can you imagine the uproar in America if a batch of unclean water infected a group of people? It would be all over the news and nobody would stand for it. Sadly, not only a batch, but the majority of water in Rwanda is filled with life threatening diseases. 80% of deaths in Rwanda are caused by water-born illnesses. Close to 75,000 lives have been saved by the few existing clean water wells in Rwanda. Join with us this quarter in saving more lives. Buy a shirt and tell the story! Our hope and vision is to give over 4,500 people access to clean water. Help us sell 1,200 shirts a month to accomplish this amazing task!
